The 2026 Angola Cup quarter final draw has ensured that there are no early clashes among the country’s giants, hence guaranteeing more patronage and excitement.
The country’s heavyweights, including Petro de Luanda and Kabuscorp of Palanca, have avoided each other in the Angola Cup last-eight stage. The draw took place in Luanda on Friday, 24th April 2026.

The highlight of the draw saw Grupo Desportivo Interclube being paired with Petro de Luanda in the quarterfinal.
The outcome of a quarterfinal meeting between Wiliete de Benguela and Lunda Sul will determine who will face either Interclube or Petro de Luanda in the semifinal.
The winner of the quarterfinal match between Nedji AFC and Kabuscorp do Palanca will date either São Salvador or Desportivo da Huíla in the last-four stage.
The Girabola league defending champions secured their place in the quarterfinals of the Angolan Cup after thrashing Académica do Lobito 4-0 on Wednesday, 22nd April 2026.
Veteran forward Tiago Azulão scored a double with the other goals coming from on-loan Orlando Pirates winger Gilberto and Benny Dias.
The quarter final games will be played next Wednesday, 29 April 2026 while the semi-final games are scheduled for 27 May. The final will take place on 31 May.
