Serhou Guirassy made it back-to-back matches with a goal while Ramy Bensebaini provided a goal and an assist as Borussia Dortmund stormed to a dominant 4-0 Bundesliga victory over SC Freiburg.
The Guinean boosted his league total to fifteen goals on the season with an easy finish from close range in the 14th minute. Algeria national team defender Bensebaini showed his attacking qualities as well, assisting Maximilian Beier’s opener in the 8th minute before heading in the third goal from Julian Ryerson’s 31st minute corner kick.
After Bayern Munich clinched another league title a week ago, Dortmund needed a victory to maintain their hold on second place with RB Leipzig in hot pursuit. After two consecutive defeats, Die Borussen maintained their five-point lead on Leipzig with Sunday’s result.
