Enis Bardhi converted from the penalty spot deep into second half stoppage time after Beşiktaş and Benin national team star Junior Olaitan dragged down Konyaspor substitute Kazeem Olaigbe just inside the box.
Beşiktaş are enduring a difficult campaign and the result was devastating for supporters who chanted for resignations in the club’s management following the full time whistle.
However, credit must be given to their opponents, who once again delivered another outstanding defensive performance led by the central defensive duo of Burkina Faso international Nagalo, goalkeeper Bahadır Han Güngördü and captain Adil Demirbağ.

The cup run symbolizes an excellent second half of the campaign for the club from Central Anatolia, who have moved up to 9th place in the Süper Lig and now have an opportunity to secure qualification for the UEFA Europa League next season. They will await the winner of the winner of the second semifinal on May 13th between Trabzonspor and Gençlerbirliği.
Nagalo now has twelve appearances in all competitions since joining on loan from PSV during the winter transfer window, playing a part in six clean sheets. He is joined by DR Congo international forward Jackson Muleka and Republic of Congo forward Yhoan Andzouana with a massive opportunity to help their club qualify for the Europa League for the first time since the 2017-18 season.
Next up for the club is a league clash with Fenerbahçe, the club they eliminated in the cup quarterfinal, on Saturday.
