Dutch club NAC Breda have decided part ways with Ghanaian duo André Ayew and Denis Odoi.
The decision to keep Odoi, 37, and Ayew, 36, had to be made before May 15 but the Eredivisie club did not exercise options to keep them at the Rat Verlegh Stadion for next season.

Both experienced players signed contracts during the just ended season until the end of the 2025/2026 campaign. In those agreements, NAC included a unilateral club option for a possible extra season.
Odoi featured in 19 official matches since his free transfer in November last year, at a time NAC was rocked by injuries in the defense. Ghanaian record international Ayew made 16 appearances in the yellow and black kit, scoring once in a 3-3 draw against Feyenoord.
Ayew came to Breda on a free transfer in January to provide options up front but his presence did little to save NAC from relegation to the Eerste Division.
NAC’s demotion from the 2025/26 season was confirmed after Volendam’s 1-1 draw against Excelsior on May 10. The club are 17th with 28 points in the 18-team league with one match remaining.
