Moroccan winger Hakim Ziyech has left Qatari side Al Duhail after a six-month stay in the Gulf nation. Ziyech played only 13 games and scored once in all competitions as he prepares for another adventure elsewhere.
Ziyech joined Al Duhail from Turkish side Galatasaray, but his stay was short-lived as he departed after the conclusion of the current Qatar Stars League season. Al Duhail thanked the winger for his service and wished him well in his future endeavors.
The 32-year-old winger missed out on the Qatar Stars League title and was a runner-up in the 2025 Qatar Cup. His recent form and lack of playing time forced him out of the latest Morocco national team call-up. Atlas Lions head coach Walid Regragui previously stated that the winger needs to play more to be in contention as the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations fast approaches.
The former Ajax and Chelsea winger is the latest high-profile name to leave Al Duhail after French coach Christophe Galtier and Kenyan striker Michael Olunga left the club last week.
