Nigerian forward Moses Ebiye is among the players who have been released by Scottish Premiership club Motherwell ahead of the new season.
The 28-year-old, who was born in Warri, Nigeria, has been released alongside three other players – Steve Seddon, Moses Ebiye, and Davor Zdravkovski – after running down their respective contracts.
Ebiye arrived in March 2024 and quickly established himself as a fan favourite for his last-minute winner against Dundee on his debut. That was one of seven goals that Ebiye scored across his 39 appearances, including a goal in his final appearance against Ross County.
Having locally played for Akwa United, in June 2017, Ebiye signed a four-year contract with Tippeligaen side Lillestrøm, before going on loan to Strømmen in the summer of 2018. He returned to Lillestrøm at the end of the same year. In September 2020, Ebiye signed with Norwegian First Division side Hamkam.
He made 33 appearances in all competitions for Motherwell scoring 50 goals in the process.
