South Sudan Premier League champions Jamus FC have officially unveiled Rashid Okocha as their latest signing. The highly rated left back has joined the club on a two-year contract following the expiration of his deal with Uganda Premier League side NEC FC.

The move comes as Jamus FC continue to bolster their squad ahead of their CAF Champions League debut. Okocha, a regular starter for the South Sudan national team (Bright Stars), brings experience and defensive solidity to a team that went unbeaten in the domestic league, collecting 68 points from 21 matches.

“We have signed a contract with our national team’s super left back defender Rashid Okocha from NEC FC in the Uganda Premier League. Welcome to your new home, Okocha—we are excited to have you join the best team in South Sudan,” the club announced through its official social media platforms.

Okocha, who has previously featured for both NEC FC and Onduparaka SC, is among several strategic additions as the club looks to compete both locally and on the continent. His signing underlines Jamus FC’s intent to build a strong, experienced core for their continental journey.

The ambitious South Sudanese champions have already confirmed the arrivals of several new players, including midfielder William Gama (Onduparaka SC), right back Felix Obama (KCCA Soccer Academy), Jaffar Kerepi, and veteran Ugandan defender Hassan Wasswa Dazo from Kator FC.

In addition, Jamus FC have unveiled Shabani Kagayo, Josue Manuma, Fichal Ouro Guezere, Houessi Hariston Hessou, Hergy Samoni, Madut Chol, and Martin Otwao, showcasing their commitment to assembling a deep and competitive squad for the 2025/26 campaign.
