Stade Tunisien targeting Fakhreddine Ben Youssef ahead of CAF campaign

Former Tunisian international forward Fakhreddine Ben Youssef is on the radar of Stade Tunisien. The Le Bardo-based club will compete in the 2025/26 CAF Confederation Cup as they rush to make new signings before the squad announcement deadline in July.

Stade Tunisien is fortunate to see a transfer ban imposed by FIFA lifted. They are currently working to strengthen their squad for the continental journey. According to La Presse, the club is eyeing Al Masry attacker Ben Youssef.

The 34-year-old former Esperance de Tunis and Pyramids player will see his contract with Al Masry expire on June 30. Al Masry confirmed his exit in late May 2025 as Stade Tunisien hopes to bring him back to his native country.

Ben Youssef is well known for his attacking prowess, his versatility and strong physical profile. His vast experience in Africa, Europe, and the Middle East would be highly valuable if Stade Tunisien can secure his signature. Ben Youssef has scored ten goals in the last two editions of the CAF Confederation Cup with Al Masry and Pyramids.

Stade Tunisien recently agreed to sign former player Elyes Jelassi from Esperance. They are expected to recruit more players in the coming weeks.
