In a heartfelt gesture of appreciation, Zamalek SC has officially decided to retire the iconic No. 10 jersey, previously worn by club legend Mahmoud Abdel Razek “Shikabala”, for the upcoming season.

The decision was made by the club’s board of directors in coordination with the team’s sporting director, John Edward, as a tribute to one of the most beloved figures in the club’s storied history.
Shikabala, who recently announced his retirement from professional football, leaves behind a glittering legacy with the White Castle.
Throughout his illustrious career, Shikabala became the most decorated player in the history of Zamalek, lifting a total of 18 titles with the club.
By retiring the No. 10 shirt, Zamalek not only honours a legend but also preserves the legacy of a player whose name will forever be etched in the heart of every fan.
