“I will give all my best to the club” – Kamaldeen Sulemana on Atalanta move

Ghana winger Kamaldeen Sulemana has said that, he is ready to give his utmost at Atalanta, expressing joy after joining the side ahead of next season.

The Black Stars speedster sealed his transfer to the Italian Serie A club from English side Southampton on Wednesday, July 2. Speaking to the Atalanta media team after touring the facilities at the club, Sulemana noted that he was impressed.

According to the forward, he is ready to give his all to the club to ensure they achieve their objectives.

“I just had a tour at the training centre and I can say it’s a big facility, a lot of stuff to do here and I can’t wait to get started. I’m very happy to start my new adventure here. So far, I like everything I see. I will give all my best to the club,” said Sulemana.

Sulemana, 23, has moved to Atalanta BC after playing for Danish side FC Nordsjaelland, Stade Rennais FC of the French Ligue 1 and Southampton in the past.

He suffered relegation from the English Premier League with Southampton last season and his move to Italy is a step from playing in the English Championship.

Sulemana is expected to settle in well at the club under new manager, Ivan Juric who coached him at Southampton last season. Atalanta placed third in the Serie A last season and will play in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League.
