Egyptian international striker Mohamed Sherif has officially returned to Al Ahly SC ahead of the upcoming season, following the expiration of his contract with Saudi side Al-Khaleej.

According to local reports in Egypt, the 29-year-old joins the Red Devils on a free transfer after spending two seasons with Al-Khaleej, where he made 59 appearances, scoring 9 goals and providing 2 assists.
Sherif originally left Al Ahly for Al-Khaleej two years ago, but now makes his comeback to the club where he had some of the best years of his career. During his previous five seasons with Al Ahly, he played 151 matches, scoring 58 goals and assisting 11 more.
