Sihle Nduli: Orlando Pirates new catch pens emotional farewell to Stellenbosch

Orlando Pirates FC’s new catch Sihle Nduli has penned a heartfelt farewell message to Stellenbosch FC’s supporters following his exit from the Western Cape side.

In the farewell message, former Stellies star said he owes his success to the team.

“Words cannot describe how grateful I am,” he told Stellenbosch media.

“To the fans, I just want to say: ‘you guys’ are the best. I can’t thank you enough for the love and support you gave me on and off the field during my time with Stellenbosch FC.”

“If it wasn’t for your support, we as the players would never have achieved what we have. I love you all, and you will always remain close to my heart.”

Nduli left Stellenbosch for greener pastures in Johannesburg last month upon the expiration of his contract. His exit closed the curtain on a three-year stay with Steve Barker’s outfit.

The 29-year-old made 104 appearances across all competitions – one of only 10 players to reach a century of appearances for the club.

He was also a key member of the squad that won the 2023 Carling Knockout trophy.

Nduli is among the new recruits for Pirates who are set to begin a new chapter following the exit of coach Jose Riveiro. Sipho Mbule is among the new signings for the Soweto giants.
