SuperSport United are open to selling one their key midfielders, Siphesihle Ndlovu, to Kaizer Chiefs in the current transfer window, Pan-Africa Football has learned.
This publication has it on good authority that Amakhosi are eager to open talks with the Tshwane side to bring Ndlovu to Naturena.
Chiefs have earmarked Ndlovu as a top transfer target to beef up the midfield position for the upcoming campaign.
Amakhosi have been busy bolstering their squad to build a competitive team to compete for all trophies on offer next season. So far, Chiefs have reportedly signed Paseka Mako, Thabiso Monyane, Ethan Chislett, and Nkanyiso Shinga. But they are yet to announce their arrival.
The Glamour Boys currently have Yusuf Maart, Thabo Cele, and Edison Castillo fighting for a place in the central midfield position.
Meanwhile, Ndlovu has been a key figure at SuperSport in his two seasons with the club, having signed from Orlando Pirates at the start of the 2023/24 campaign.
The KZN-born midfielder made 30 appearances in all competitions, scored two goals and provided two assists.
His ball-playing skills, defensive qualities and eye for goal have attracted interest from Chiefs, led by head coach Nasreddine Nabi.
A source close to the developments has also revealed that SuperSport is one of the parties listening to the offer to transfer the 28-year-old to Chiefs.
