A clear objective for Morocco
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation has taken a bold decision by registering a youth team for this edition.
The goal? To give emerging talents playing in the national championship a chance and allow them to shine on the continental stage.
A change of calendar and an unprecedented organization
Originally scheduled for February 2025, the competition was postponed to August 2025 by the Confederation of African Football (CAF). This edition will also be distinguished by its tri-national organization: the matches will take place in Kenya, Uganda, and Tanzania, a first in the history of the competition.
Towards a promising CHAN
With 19 teams already qualified and two places remaining to be awarded in the play-offs, this CHAN promises to be one of the most competitive in history. Morocco, two-time winners of the competition, will attempt to rise to the challenge in a tough group. The road to victory will be long, but the hope of writing a new glorious page remains intact.
