Recruitment ban lifted on Club Africain

The board of directors of Club Africain de Tunis announced on Friday, July 11, 2025, that the ban on recruiting players has been officially lifted.

This comes after the club resolved all outstanding disputes and issues with the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA).

This sanction followed a complaint from the organizing company of the friendly match that was scheduled to take place in 2019 between Club Africain and Valencia. Following payment of the amount owed, Club Africain was removed from the list of clubs banned from recruiting players.
