Ghana Premier League champions Bibiani GoldStars have strengthened their attacking line with the acquisition of experienced striker Sampson Eduku.

Eduku joins the Bibiani based club as a free agent after leaving FA Cup winners, Asante Kotoko ahead of next season’s domestic and continental campaign. The 27-year-old is believed to have signed a two-year deal with the Ghana Premier League champions.

The former Tamale City FC striker becomes the latest addition after the arrival of Emmanuel Agyei, Emmanuel Fosu Kyei, Emmanuel Agyenim Boateng, Barimah Baah, Edward Agyemang, Emmanuel Kontor and Emmanuel Ankrah.

Eduku is expected to help Gold Stars head coach Frimpong Manso put up a stronger squad for their 2025/26 CAF Champions League campaign following an historic maiden Ghana Premier League title win.

The former Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya striker will be assessed during the 2025 GHALCA Top Four tournament which kicks off next month. The Miners are also set to take on Asante Kotoko in the Champion of Champions match as part of their pre-season schedule.
