William Dankyi: Ghana defender weighing up options after failed Tabora FC move

Ghana defender William Ntori Dankyi is weighing up options after his move to Tanzania outfit, Tabora FC failed to materialize.

The 25-year-old was billed to join Tabora in a three-year deal but some hiccups in agreement between the two parties halted the move at the eleventh hour.

The former Hearts of Oak left-back is now a free agent and available to join any club after helping Gold Stars FC to win their maiden Ghana Premier League title last season.

Dankyi previously played for the now defunct Liberty Professionals, Kumasi King Faisal and Ghana’s U-17, U-20 and U-23 national teams.

His trophy wardrobe includes a Ghana Premier League title, two FA Cups, a Super Cup and one President Cup all with millennium champions Hearts of Oak between 2020 and 2022. His second top flight title came with Gold Stars with which he won the title last season.
