According to reports, Osman’s loan move includes an option for the deal to be made permanent for a fee in the region of €16 million.
The 20-year-old has struggled to command a regular shirt at the Seagulls since signing a long term deal to join them from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland in February 2024.
He returned to Brighton after a loan spell at Dutch outfit Feyenoord where he featured in 22 games, scoring three goals and providing three assists. However, Feyenoord decided against triggering an option to make the deal permanent.
Osman has been capped by Ghana’s senior national team on two occasions and he will use the Ligue 1 platform to maintain his form ahead of a possible invitation for the Black Stars’ 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali in September.
