Morocco side Difaa Hassani El Jadidi to sign Mauritanian keeper Babacar Niasse

Morocco club, Difaâ Hassani El Jadidi are set to sign Mauritanian goalkeeper Babacar Niasse to bolster their squad for next season.

The tall and lanky keeper who stands at 1.96m, will join on an initial one-year deal, with an option to extend by mutual consent.

Born in Senegal, the 28-year-old represents Mauritania at the senior level where he is capped 22 times.

Niasse graduated from the Aspire Academy system before he joined Belgium club KAS Eupen in 2015.

On 21 August 2019, Niasse signed a three-year contract with Portuguese Primeira Liga club Tondela. On 21 July 2023, Niasse signed a two-year contract with Ligue 2 club Guingampafter leaving Eupen.

Niasse will strengthen Difaa El Jadidi’s goalkeeper ranks ahead of next season. The club finished in ninth last term on 42 points from 30 league matches.
