Goals from Leonardo Campana and Red Bulls player Kyle Duncan gave New England a 2-0 lead. Choupo-Moting equalized in the 70th minute after Daniel Edelman pulled one back. The 36-year-old former Bayern Munich striker collected a nice pass from Emil Forsberg to slot home from inside the area.
Choupo-Moting scored his second seven minutes before full-time with a simple finish inside the box. The Indomitable Lions player reached 13 goals for the season on his MLS debut. It is the third time this season that Choupo-Moting has bagged a brace in a match.
