Ivorian Football Federation backs four clubs in continental campaigns

The Ivorian Football Federation (FIF) has pledged to support clubs participating in the CAF Champions League and Confederation Cup. Four Ivorian outfits will benefit from financial support from the federation.

Under the leadership of Yacine Idriss Diallo, the FIF has been supporting clubs in their journeys in both club competitions. The financial support has helped clubs cover some expenses.

Ivorian Ligue 1 champions Stade d’Abidjan, runners-up ASEC Mimosas, Académie de FAD, and FC San Pedro are the clubs set to receive financial assistance from the FIF.

Stade d’Abidjan will receive 50 million FCFA (88,998 USD), plus an additional five million FCFA (8,899 USD) per match played.

ASEC Mimosas will get 25 million FCFA (44,499 USD), plus five million FCFA per match played.

AFAD and San Pedro will each receive 15 million FCFA (26,699 USD), along with an additional five million FCFA per match played.

The FIF has long had a tradition of supporting its clubs competing in CAF club competitions.
