Former Brentford FC striker Bryan Mbeumo and his Cameroonian compatriot Andre Onana have made the cut for Manchester United’s tour of America.
Mbeumo signed for the Red Devils two days ago and his inclusion in the squad was uncertain.
The striker was in a red-hot form last Premier League season with Brentford, scoring 20 league goals.
The Cameroon attacker has penned a five-year contract with United until June 2030, with the option to extend for a further year.
The forward has found his way in Ruben Amorim’s 32-member travelling party alongside Onana.
United’s first-choice keeper Onana had missed the team’s trip to Sweden for a friendly against Leeds United last week amid injury concerns.
However, it appears the Indomitable Lions’ number one is now in sound health hence his inclusion in the American leg of Tour 2025.
Amorim’s side will kick-start their Premier League Summer Series for the first time, starting off against West Ham United this Sunday morning at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. United will then take on Bournemouth and Everton a few days later to conclude the tour.
