Ghana striker Jonathan Sowah has officially signed for Tanzania giants Simba SC.
The former Medeama SC attacker signed a two-year deal, joining them from Singida Black Stars ahead of the domestic and continental campaign.
Sowah, 26, joined Singida Black Stars from Libyan outfit Al Nasr midway last season, scoring an impressive 13 goals from 13 league matches as they booked a spot in next term’s CAF Confederation Cup. They finished fourth in the league with 57 points from 30 matches.
Simba on the other hand finished second on the league table with 78 points from 30 matches, four behind Young Africans – securing a spot in next term’s CAF Champions League.
Sowah brings a wealth of experience from playing with Ghana’s Medeama SC, a side he helped win the premier league before a stint at Libya club Al Nasr.
Jonathan Sowah made his senior Ghana debut in 2023, going on to clock three appearances.
All the necessary paperwork works is done and he will join the club soon for pre season.
