Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq have officially announced the signing of Egyptian striker Ahmed Hassan “Kouka” on a free transfer. The 32-year-old joins the club on a one-year contract, bringing with him over a decade of European experience.
Kouka’s most recent stint was with Le Havre AC in France’s Ligue 1, where he spent six months. During his short spell with the club, he made 16 appearances, scoring 3 goals, including an injury-time penalty winner against RC Lens, as well as strikes against Lille and AS Monaco.
The experienced forward began his career in the youth ranks of Al Ahly, Egypt’s most successful club, before moving to Europe. His professional journey has taken him through several leagues, including Portugal, Greece, Turkey, and France.
