Age is nothing but a number for Buhle Mkhwanazi: Siwelele FC coach Seema

Siwelele FC coach Lehlohonolo Seema has acknowledged the performance of ageless Buhle Mkhwanazi in their 3-1 win over Golden Arrows on Saturday.

The 35-year-old centre-back showed strength and resilience throughout the Betway Premiership to help Siwelele win the game.

After the game, Seema said he was impressed with the former SuperSport United utility player’s displays.

“He has been doing very well,” the former Sekhukhune United trainer said.

“He is looking after himself. It only shows that age is just a number if you are looking after yourself and if you are living a clean life. The only thing we can do as coaches is to give him an opportunity.”

Siwelele won the Betway Premiership opening game for the 2025-2026 season, thanks to Siviwe Magidigi’s brace and Vincent Pule’s strike. Keenan Phillips scored Arrows’ consolation goal.
