Nile Egyptian League fixtures relocated as Cairo International stadium closes for maintenance

The Competitions Committee of the Egyptian Professional Clubs Association (League) has announced a series of fixture relocations in Nile Egyptian League due to the closure of Cairo International Stadium for maintenance works starting August 21 and lasting until the end of the month.

Among the relocated fixtures is the big clash between the title holder AL Ahly and CAF Champions League champions Pyramids which will be held at Al Salam Stadium.

As a result, several matches in the coming rounds of the Nile Egyptian League will be played at alternative venues:

  • Thursday, August 21 (Round 3)
    Modern Sport vs Zamalek – Suez Canal Authority Stadium, 9:00 PM

  • Monday, August 25 (Round 4)
    ZED FC vs Wadi Degla – Arab Contractors Stadium, 6:00 PM

  • Tuesday, August 26 (Round 4)
    Zamalek vs Pharco – Suez Canal Authority Stadium, 9:00 PM

  • Friday, August 29 (Round 5)
    National Bank vs Tala’ea El Gaish – Al Salam Stadium, 9:00 PM

  • Saturday, August 30 (Round 5)
    Al Ahly vs Pyramids – Al Salam Stadium, 9:00 PM

  • Sunday, August 31 (Round 5)
    Modern Sport vs Haras El Hodood – Suez Canal Authority Stadium, 6:00 PM
