Ghana Premier League giants, Hearts of Oak have augmented their ranks with midfielder Abdul Karim ahead of the 2025/26 Ghana domestic football season.
The Phobians head coach, Mas Ud Didi Dramani has been a fan of the defensive midfielder who previously played for Nations FC.
His addition will strengthen the midfield ranks of the 2000 CAF Champions League winners as they look to recapture their lost domestic and continental glory.
The 2001 CAF Super Cup winners announced the capture of Abdul Karim via their Facebook page with a short message.

Hearts of Oak has added more strength to the squad. Say hello to our latest defensive midfield tower. Abdul Karim – from Nation FC to Hearts”. The statement read after the capture of the 25-year-old.
Hearts of Oak’s pre-season opened with a 2-0 win over fellow Premier League side, Heart of Lions to retain the Gbese Mantse Homowo Cup at the Accra Sports Stadium.
They will face the same side in the opening game of the 2025 GHALCA Top Four competition at the Legon Sports Stadium on Wednesday August 20 at 6: 00pm.
Hearts of Oak remain the only Ghanaian to have won the CAF Champions League, Super Cup and the Confederation Cup. They hold a record twelve FA Cup titles.
