Goals and assists from African players in the Middle East: December 7-8

A weekend full of matches from the three biggest leagues in the Middle East saw plenty of goal contributions from African players but no player is in hotter form than Togolese striker Kodjo Laba. Ever since joining United Arab Emirates giants Al Ain from Morocco’s RS Berkane ahead of the 2018-19 season, the Lomé native has accumulated an astounding 135 goals in 164 appearances across all competitions for the club based in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
