Felix Afena-Gyan joins Turkish second tier side Amedspor

Felix Afena-Gyan has taken another step in his career, officially joining Turkish TFF First League side Amedspor on loan.

Afena-Gyan moves to Turkey on loan from Italian outfit US Cremonese in a bid to revive his struggling career.

The 22-year-old’s loan move includes an option to buy as the former Juve Next Generation attacker looks to earn more minutes in the 2025/26 football season.

Afena-Gyan shot into the limelight in 2021 under renowned Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho at Serie A powerhouse, AS Roma but he struggled to command a regular shirt prompting a move to Cremonese.

The switch to Amedspor presents a fresh opportunity for Ghana forward Afena-Gyan, who will aim to rediscover his lost form.

He is capped seven times by Ghana’s senior men’s team, the Black Stars with a goal under his belt.
