Zambian Super League side ZESCO United have sealed the signing of Nigerian goalkeeper Sochima Victor Ndukauba from South Sudan outfit Jamus FC on a two-year contract.
“We’re thrilled to announce the signing of Nigerian international goalkeeper Sochima Victor Ndukauba, aka “Odogwu” or “SochiBig16”!
“With a proven track record of excellence, Sochi joins us from Jamus FC in South Sudan, where he won the SSPL league and cup in a remarkable half-season stint,” the club confirmed on their official social media pages.
“Sochi’s impressive resume includes NPFL highest clean sheets (16) in the 2021/2022 season, NPFL Team of the Season and Goalkeeper of the Year nominations, and 4 senior national team appearances for Nigeria, including 2023 AFCON qualifiers against Equatorial Guinea and Sierra Leone.”
The statement concluded: “With a two-year contract, we’re confident Sochima Victor will bring his exceptional skills and experience to our team. Let’s give him a warm welcome!”
