The tall and lanky centre-back joins Young Africans on a season long loan deal ahead of the 2025/26 campaign – a move that will potentially see him play in the CAF Champions League.
The 23-year-old was part of the Ghana U-20 team (Black Satellites) squad that won the 2021 CAF U-20 Africa Cup of Nations in Mauritania. He subsequently played for Ghana’s U-23 national team, playing the full ninety minutes in two friendly games against South Korea in June 2021.
He began his career with now second tier side Inter Allies FC in Ghana before moving abroad to Danish side HB Koge. He had loan spells at Roskilde KFUM and with Elite Falcons in the UAE.
The 23-year-old defender will spend the 2025-26 campaign with Yanga, who will cover his full wages during the loan spell.
Young Africans, who won last season’s Tanzania Mainland Premier League with 82 points, have been paired against Wiliete Sport Clube of Angola with Yanga traveling for the first leg on September 19 and the reverse fixture billed for a week later.
