Saudi Super Cup final date and time – Mahrez and Mendy available

Al Ahli have booked their place in the 2025 Saudi Super Cup final, where they will face Al Nassr in an all-Saudi showdown. The 12th edition of the competition is being staged in Hong Kong for the very first time, running from August 19 to 23.

The four-team tournament featured Al Ittihad, Al Qadsiah, Al Nassr, and Al Ahli. Sadio Mane’s Al Nassr earned their spot in the final with a 2-1 win over Al Ittihad in the semifinal, while Al Ahli cruised past Al Qadsiah with a commanding 5-1 victory on Wednesday.

Al Nassr will be without Senegalese star Sadio Mané, who is suspended after being sent off in the semifinal. However, they still boast the firepower of Ronaldo, while Al Ahli will rely on the likes of Senegal goalkeeper Édouard Mendy, Ivorian midfielder Franck Kessié, and Algerian winger Riyad Mahrez.

The final will take place on Saturday, August 23, kicking off at 8:00 PM Hong Kong time 12:00 PM GMT.

Al Ahli have reached the final once before, lifting the trophy in 2016 after defeating Al Hilal on penalties. Al Nassr are two-time champions (2019 and 2020) and have been runners-up on three occasions (2014, 2015, and 2024). Al Hilal remain the record holders with five titles (2015, 2018, 2021, 2023, and 2024).
