Africans abroad: El Kaabi fire Olympiacos to victory, Sinayoko’s Auxerre fall to Nice

A lot of African players continued to produce perfect displays across Europe on Saturday with most of them going on the score sheet for their various clubs.

In the German Bundesliga, Algeria striker Mohamed Amoura scored from the spot as Wolfsburg won 2-1 at FC Heidenheim on Saturday.

Elsewhere in the French Ligue 1, Ivory Coast international Jeremie Boga and Nigeria forward Terem Moffi scored for OG Nice who defeated Auxerre by 3-1 with the latter’s goal scored by Lassine Sinayoko in the 22nd minute.

Algeria’s Ilan Kebbal and Nigeria winger Moses Simon netted a goal each but those were not enough as new boys, Paris FC lost 5-2 to Olympique Marseille in the Ligue 1. Gabon forward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang scored twice for Marseille in the process.

In the Greek Super League, veteran Morocco striker, Ayoub El Kaabi scored late in the game as Olympiacos defeated Asteras Tripolis by 2-0 at home.
