The diminutive defensive midfielder joins for a reported transfer fee of €750,000 from Greek club Atromitos. Ouedraogo spent three years in Greece, initially moving to PAOK. The Burkinabe played for PAOK’s reserve team in the second tier of Greek football before spending time on loan at top flight clubs Volos and Panserraikos. He played one season at Atromitos after joining on a free transfer following the end of the 2024-25 season.

Ouedraogo showed notable signs of progression over his time in Greece. After failing to make an impact on his first loan at Volos, he made 54 appearances with Panserraikos and Atromitos. Ouedraogo established himself as an improving defensive presence, reducing his yellow card totals while maintaining his impressive ball winning abilities.

Now the Ouagadougou native joins an Odense side that is looking to re-establish itself in the Danish top flight. After a surprise relegation, Odense gained promotion back to the Superliga for the 2025-26 season and are currently in 6th place through six rounds. The club has conceded sixteen goals so far, the worst defensive record of all teams in the Superliga.

Ouedraogo previously developed in Burkinabe football with noted academy KOZAF before playing three seasons with AS Douanes. He has 25 appearances with the Burkina Faso senior national team and was on the Stallions’ 2021 and 2023 Africa Cup of Nations squads, notably scoring the winning penalty in a Round of 16 shootout victory over Gabon.
