Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew posted a brilliant performance, registering a goal as Leicester City collected a valuable point at Oxford United on Saturday in the English Championship.
The Black Stars captain canceled out Will Lankshear’s 9th minute opener in the 13th for the Foxes who were reduced to ten men following Aaron Ramsey’s 24th minute red card.
The home side recovered from Jordan Ayew’s equalizer to shoot themselves ahead one more time with a minute to end the first half from Boubakary Soumare’s own goal.
The 2-1 deficit forced Leicester boss, Marti Cifuentes onto the drawing board ahead of the second half.
With just ten minutes inro rhe second half, Ghanaian winger, Abdul Fatawu who has regained his form after recovering from an ACL injury, set up Ricardo Pereira for the equalizer.
The veteran Portuguese’ equalizer maintained the status quo, ending the game at 2-2 in full time.
Jordan Ayew has now opened his goal account in five championship matches for Leicester City who moved into fourth on ten points from five matches.
Jordan Ayew was substituted on the 90th minute mark with Fatawu Issahaku playing 75 minutes for the Foxes who are eying a quick return to the Premier League next season.
