Newly promoted Ghana Premier League club, Hohoe United have promised a rapturous atmosphere for the teams that will visit their home ground this season.
Hohoe United got their debut top flight season off to an impressive start, holding giants, Hearts of Oak to a goalless draw at the Accra Sports Stadium on Friday September 12.
Their next fixture is at home to Young Apostles in match day two and club administrator, Yussif Alhassan Uthman has assured that, visiting clubs will be greeted with a charged crowd.
“The fan base has been massive and it is the key reason for our success so far and everybody who has come to watch Hohoe United on match days would attest to that fact,” Yussif Uthman told Radio Gold.
“Every single game has been a sold-out and the fans not just at home actually follow the club everywhere the club goes. It’s a club owned by the people and the people have accepted it and have made it their own and we are happy about it.
“Football without fans cannot be the same and for us we are privileged to have such a huge following and there are times we struggle to control the crowd and that will be more in the Ghana Premier League.”
Hohoe United qualified from Zone III, shrugging off competitions from Port City FC and former premier league campaigners Great Olympics and Okwawu United.
