FK Radnik Bijeljina completes signing of forward Anthony Ijoma

Bosnian Premier League club FK Radnik Bijeljina has officially announced the completion of the transfer of promising Nigerian forward Anthony Ijoma on Monday.

The 20-year-old joins the club from Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side Abia Warriors. The Bosnian club welcomed the youngster on its Instagram channel and wished him a healthy season of goals with them.

“Reinforcement for the end of the transitional deadline – Anthony Ijoma is the new player of FC Radnik Bijeljina! Anthony, welcome to Radnik! We wish you a lot of luck, goals and success in our jersey.”

The striker was a key figure in the Abia Warriors attack last season, showcasing his goal-scoring ability by netting thirteen goals and providing three assists.

Ijoma was part of Nigeria’s home-based Super Eagles squad that competed in the 2024 African Nations Championship (CHAN) and featured in two matches during the tournament.

The acquisition of Ijoma, who was given the #99 jersey, is a strategic move for FK Radnik Bijeljina as they look to bolster their attacking options. The club is currently fifth place on the league table with nine points in seven matches after narrowly avoiding relegation last season.
