After producing two goals and an assist in Taawoun’s 3-2 victory at Al Okhdoud on Sunday, Barrow once again received praise from his teammates after a defense-splitting pass for Sultan Mandash to make it 3-0 in favor of the hosts.
The opening match of the season saw Taawoun thrashed by Cristiano Ronaldo and Al Nassr in a 5-0 defeat but they have shown their quality against lesser clubs. Barrow has been at the center of the club’s return to winning ways after starring with The Gambia during the international break.
The 26-year-old former Bologna star contributed a goal and an assist for the Scorpions in their 3-1 victory at Kenya in 2026 World Cup qualifying.
Barrow and Taawoun will next be in action in the King’s Cup, where they will face second division side Al Faisaly on Sunday.
