Aduana Stars will look to recover from their 1-0 opening day loss at Karela United as they welcome a high flying Nations FC on Sunday, September 21.
The “Fire Boys” will host Nations FC at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in match day two, a game head coach, Cioaba Aristica seeks maximum concentration from his players.
“We first need concentration from the first minute to ninety minutes from the players because if you look at the game against Karela United, within a few minutes then we started making mistakes and we went down by 1-0,”Cioaba Aristica told Aduana media.
“I saw positives in our play against Karela United but we lost concentration in the last fifteen minutes from the attackers and our defenders allowed too many spaces for the opponents.
“So we are working on these two mistakes and building on the positives from the Karela United game [because] sometimes our team plays well.”
Aduana Stars finished ninth in last season’s league with 47 points from 34 matches and they will look to better that position after the current campaign.
They have won the Ghana Premier League two times in 2010 and 2017 with the 2018 Ghana Super Cup in the trophy cabinet as well. They reached the group stage of the CAF Confederation Cup the same year as clinching the Ghana Super Cup.
