Magesi secured the first win of the Betway Premiership season after overcoming Siwelele FC 2-0 at Seshego Stadium on Saturday.
Delano Abrahams and Thabang Sibanyoni scored for Dikwena Tša Meetse.
In view of such struggles, Maduka sought to put matters into context explaining why the turnaround process took long to right the wrongs.
“There is no game where we are not creating scoring opportunities. All the matches that we played, we created good chances, but it is a work in progress,” he told the club’s website.
“You must remember that I just joined the team and there are so many things that I had to change, how the team plays and we are creating more chances than before.”
“We must work on our defence to make sure we don’t concede soft goals,” the Malawian added.
Magesi moved to 12th place on the standings, with six points from seven games.
