In a statement, the Bloemfontein-based club confirmed the return of their exciting winger on a free transfer.
“Marumo Gallants FC is proud to welcome back our former right winger, Katlego Otladisa! A fan favorite, a fighter, and a true Gallant – ready to rise with us once again. Let’s give him the loudest welcome,” the statement reads.
The 28-year-old winger left Gallants in July 2023 to seal a dream transfer to Pirates on a three-year contract.
Otladisa, however, struggled to impose himself on the Buccaneers’ star-studded starting XI, making just a single appearance in the playing squad last season.
This prompted the exciting wide midfielder to leave Pirates in the same campaign of 2024-2025 for a loan spell at another Betway Premiership club, Sekhukhune United.
Otladisa managed to feature in 11 games across all competitions under coach Lehlohonolo Seema. However, the winger’s game-time diminished drastically when Sekhukhune replaced Seema with Eric Tinkler.
