Ghana Premier League: Eleven Wonders striker Daniel Lomotey plots Heart of Oak upset

Eleven Wonders striker Daniel Lomotey has set his sights on scoring against Hearts of Oak in match day three of the 2025/26 Ghana Premier League on Friday.

The Techiman-based club have not started the campaign on a good note, having drawn goalless at Holy Stars before receiving a 4-1 home thrashing against Heart of Lions.

Hearts of Oak on the other hand have collected four points from two matches – drawing goalless at home against debutants Hohoe United before managing a 1-0 win at Dreams fc in week two.

Lomotey, who once played for West Africa Football Academy (WAFA), is bent on finding the back of the net when they battle Hearts of Oak at the Accra Sports Stadium.

“I think preparation has been so good for this week and we are working so hard for the game against Hearts of Oak,” Daniel Lomotey told the club’s media.

“They are a big opponent in the Ghana Premier League, if you could see they are one of the biggest clubs in Ghana [and] it’s not going to be an easy game for us but I think [with] game after game, we will work hard towards the match against Hearts of Oak on Friday.

“As a player you are supposed to play and win and so I am looking forward to getting a goal on Friday.” He added.

Lomotey, 26, is a Ghana international at the U-20 and the U-23 level. His club journey includes stints at Medeama SC, Young Apostles and ES Setif of Algeria.
