Verified reports from the United States published by The Blazing Musket indicate that the 18-year-old midfielder is already attracting scouts from some of Europe’s top clubs. Among them are Chelsea of the English Premier League, Atletico Madrid from Spain’s La Liga, and Scottish champions Celtic FC.
Though discussions remain at an early stage, his performances have firmly placed him on their watchlist. Former Revolution head coach Caleb Porter confirmed the growing attention: “He’s got some interest overseas from top clubs. He’s already on their radar.”
A graduate of Amus College School in Uganda, Oyirwoth signed his first professional contract with the Revolution ahead of the 2025 season. Before breaking into the senior squad, he featured prominently for Revs II, where he played 1,052 minutes in 12 starts. His 88% pass completion rate, the best on the team, underlined his composure and control in midfield.

He announced himself on April 26 with a brilliant left-footed strike from outside the box. That moment of quality earned him more attention and eventually his MLS league debut on August 9 against the Chicago Fire, where he nearly grabbed an assist after coming off the bench.
Soon after, Oyirwoth earned back-to-back starts against Toronto FC and Philadelphia Union. In the Union clash, he dominated defensively with three successful tackles, six defensive interventions, and a created chance, further highlighting his all-round ability.
Interestingly, Oyirwoth had almost joined Cadiz CF in Spain before signing with the Revolution. Since then, his rise has been monitored closely by European clubs.
Beyond club football, Oyirwoth has already made his mark internationally. At just 16, he debuted for the Uganda Cranes, assisting in a game against Somalia. With the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) set for December, he is widely tipped to play an important role for the national team.
He is also expected to be among the call-ups for Uganda’s upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Botswana (October 6) and Algeria (October 14), thanks to his impressive form.
