Medeama SC will be chasing their third straight win when they travel to the Tamale Sports Stadium as guests of Karela United in match day three of the Ghana Premier League.
The Mauve and Yellow have scored six goals in their two opening matches – winning 2-0 at Young Apostles before a 4-0 thumping of Vision at the Takrwa TnA Park in week two.
With six points heading into the third day fixture against Karela United who have four points from two matches, Medeama head coach, Ibrahim Tanko knows the challenge that awaits his charges on Sunday, September 28.
“They have a very good team and they have some very good new players and with a very good coach behind them [but] like I said we go into any game with our own style.
“It doesn’t matter whether home or away, we want to control the game so definitely this is what we are going to do [and] I hope that everyone will stay fit in this kind of game.”
The week three fixtures opened on Friday, September 26 where Hearts of Oak pipped a struggling Eleven Wonders by 1-0 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
