Head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mas Ud Didi Dramani has stressed the need for players and the club’s following to believe in the club’s course to success.
The 2000 CAF Champions League winners are unbeaten in three opening Ghana Premier League matches – winning twice and drawing the first match.
The Phobians were held to a goalless draw before securing two wins against Dreams fc and Eleven Wonders in the second and third weeks respectively.
The two victories lifted Hearts to third place on the Premier League table, collecting seven points from their opening three matches.
Didi Dramani said: “We need to believe in what we are doing, and that’s the consistency we try to invite in our players, that we try to be strong also, that we can play games, tight games, where we can score one and then that would be it, and then we can protect it. Sometimes it’s difficult.
Dramani will now look to build on this drive as the record Ghana FA Cup holders prepare for an away clash with Bechem United in match day four at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
Hearts of Oak have floundered in the past seasons, failing to win the Ghana Premier League since the 2020-21 season where the swept the domestic treble.
The 2001 CAF Super Cup winners claimed their 112th and record FA Cup in 2022 but have struggled to make an impact in the competition since then.
