FUFA has officially released a 47-man provisional squad for the upcoming FIFA U-17 World Cup Qatar 2025.
The announcement was made by Head Coach Brian Ssenyondo, who emphasized the importance of giving opportunities to both local and internationally-based players as Uganda begins its preparation journey for the global showpiece.
The provisional team features a blend of talent from schools, academies, and professional clubs across Uganda and abroad, underscoring the growing strength of the country’s youth football development program.
Goalkeepers named in the squad include Gilbert Mazige (NEC FC), Adrian Mukwanga (Vipers SC), Ashraf Lukyamuzi (KCCA FC), and Edris Waibi (Buddo SS).
