Ghana’s Kingsley Schindler joins Thai club Buriram United

Ghana international, Kingsley Schindler has signed for Thai powerhouse, Buriram United for the 2025/26 campaign.

The Thunder Castle sealed the deal for the Schindler who saw out his contract at Turkish club Samsungspor – a side Schindler helped finish third in the Super Lig last season.

The 32-year-old German born cut his teeth with a number of domestic clubs including Hannover 1996, Hoffenheim II before earning a professional contract with Holstein Kiel in 2016 where he spent three seasons.

Kingsley Schindler has played eight time for Ghana

The lanky utility player was later snapped up by FC Cologne in 2019, staying at the club until 2023 with a loan spell at Hannover in between the period.

In 2023 Schindler signed for Turkish Super Lig club, Samsunspor in a two year deal where he played 56 matches, scored 3 goals and 3 assists.

After switching allegiance to represent his motherland, Schindler earned his debut call up in 2023 going on to cap for the four time African champions on eight ocassions.
