Tunisian coach Nabil Maaloul, the manager of Al Qadsia SC, highlighted the qualities of Egyptian forward Mahmoud Kahraba and his attitude since joining the Kuwaiti club this season.
Speaking to Al Ahly TV, Maaloul said:
“We selected players who can really add value to our squad, such as Mahmoud Kahraba. I love his style of play — he’s a striker who moves out of the box, links up well, and helps his teammates during games.”
The Tunisian tactician added that he has admired Kahraba before:
“I’ve always liked Kahraba, even when he was playing for Al Ahly or abroad. From his very first day here at Al Qadsia, he adapted quickly, integrated with the group, and showed great discipline in training. He actually surprised me with his professionalism and positive spirit. He’s rediscovering himself because he’s determined to achieve something with us.”
Maaloul also spoke about Tunisian midfielder Mohamed Ali Ben Romdhane’s move to Al Ahly, revealing that he had advised the midfielder to join the Egyptian giants before pursuing a European career:
“I advised Ben Romdhane to join Al Ahly before going to Europe. Al Ahly offers many advantages — they always compete in the final stages of tournaments, regularly play in the FIFA Club World Cup, and the spotlight is always on them.”
He concluded:
“Ben Romdhane has huge potential and can succeed with Al Ahly. I believe Al Ahly currently have the best group of players in Egypt and across Africa.”
