Nominees for 2025 CAF Awards (National Team & Coach of the Year)

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has unveiled the shortlists for two of its most prestigious categories: the National Team of the Year and the Coach of the Year. These nominations recognize collective and tactical excellence demonstrated across the continent over the current year.

Nominees: National Team of the Year

This award honors the national team that achieved the most significant results and demonstrated the best performance in continental and international competitions. The 2025 list notably includes the Morocco U-20 team, recognized for its achievements at the youth level winning the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

This category celebrates the coaches who have had the greatest impact, whether managing a national team or a club. The 2025 list features a mix of managers from national, youth, and top-tier club teams.

These nominations reflect the high standard of competition and tactical leadership within African football. The winners for all categories will be announced at the official 2025 CAF Awards gala, whose date is not decided yet.
