Head coach of Aduana FC, Cioaba Aristica cannot hide his joy following a last gasp victory over Dreams fc in a week seven fixture of the Ghana Premier League on Saturday.
Burkina Faso import, Daouda Ben Sidibe’s close range goal in the 85th minute after joining the fray in the second half, was enough to give the “Fire Boys” a 1-0 win at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park.
Aristica, who has now masterminded four wins in seven games, extoled the players adherence to his tactics that led to a temporary ascension to the top of the league log with 15 points.
“Dreams fc is a good team but the first forty-five minutes the players were a bit jittery and did not give much problem to the opponent,” Cioaba Aristica said. “After I changed the tactics, I had the connection in midfield to attack, I put Ben Sidibe on and our team started applying pressure on the opponent.
“I am happy about the players listening to the tactical advice and they were disciplined and very compact and this is Aduana at this moment.
Head coach of Dreams fc, Winfred Dormon admitted that, the defeat was a bitter pill to swallow.
“It’s very difficult to take the defeat, it’s a very bitter pill to swallow so to speak but a commendable performance from my lads,” Winfred Dormon said.
“From the first half, we kept the mid-block and we got them and we got them with quick transition but our last balls in the final third, the killer instinct was not there.”
Dreams fc per the defeat now remain in 15th on four points same as Berekum Chelsea who are away to Young Apostles in their week seven fixture.
